What Are VR Panoramas ?
A VR panorama (VR for virtual reality) is an interactive image that
describes a 360° view around a fixed location. This simulates
for the viewer, the experience of actually looking around the space. To
view the panoramas on this site you will need QuickTime. If QuickTime
is not already installed on your computer you can obtain it (free,
versions for both Windows and Macintosh) from Apple.com
How to use the QuickTime
Panorama
To rotate the view using the mouse, left click, hold and drag in the
window to rotate the panorama, use Shift and Control (or click on the
'+' or '-' buttons in the window) to zoom in and out. When moving the
cursor over the image, it will change from a circle to an arrow, and a
caption for the linked scene will appear in the bar at the bottom of
the window to illustrate 'hotspots'. Left clicking the mouse in these
zones will link to the next scene.
