Cottage / 01 Front view-existing |
This stone
built (freezing cold!)
period house in the historic Bartlemas conservation area is being
re-modelled, extended and "ecovated".
In collaboration with
Conservation
Planning, the rear of the house will lose it's chilly 19thC and 1970's
extensions in favour of a double pile stone faced, super-insulated
wing. The interior space rationalised; the whole house will be
thoroughly insulated, with heat recovery ventilation, solar thermal
panels, underfloor heating, a rear glazed porch and a contemporary
garden room sunspace.
